OBJECTIVES |
The British
Ornithologists' Club (“BOC”) was founded in 1892 to
promote discussion between ornithologists and to publish scientific
information connected with ornithology through the Bulletin of the
British Ornithologists’ Club which has been issued without
a break since that year and which has a special interest in avian
systematics, taxonomy and distribution.
The BOC organises regular meetings at which ornithologists and
birdwatchers can learn more about the work being undertaken around
the world on the study and conservation of birds.
The BOC is administered by a committee elected by our membership.
It has a set of rules that govern the activities of the society.
